Get your first crypto wallet: MetaMask
Accounts are stored in digital wallets, eg. “MetaMask wallet”. On a laptop or desktop computer, you can install it using this link: https://metamask.io/.It is is also available in PlayStore and AppStore for mobile devices.
After installing and starting MetaMask, it will help you with the basic steps to create your first wallet, but here are some key points:
- Never share your private keys and seed words with others
- Only share your public address if needed.
- Remember your password!

Let’s get some crypto: buying BNB coins
You can get BNB coins from friends or buy online with credit card in exchanges like Binance, using this link.
Note, if you use Binance or other exchanges and want to buy tokens not listed there or use dApps (decentralized applications) you will need to transfer the coins to a MetaMask wallet. You cannot interact with dApps from exchange wallets and also exchanges are not meant to keep your crypto safe — they are only meant to use them for trading.

- Make sure BSC Network is added to MetaMask.
- Go to: https://hodlbag.org/NFT/
- Click on “Conncet wallet to buy”
- MetaMask opens up, choose your address with BNB balance and click “Next”.
- Click “Connect”.
- Now MetaMask is connected to the HODLbag NFT dApp. Choose the desired bag design you want to buy.
- Click “BUY”.
- The transaction MetaMask window opens. Click “Confirm”.
- Wait for the transaction to finish.
- Congratulation! You HODL a HODLbag!
To list your tokens you can add it to MetaMask by clickin “Add Token” and fill it with the smart contract address: 0x7abf4604a11f91b1ef4973a7187ffa6c888f5d38

- Make sure BSC Network is added to MetaMask.
- Open the MetaMask app
- Open the menu and choose Browser
- Open https://hodlbag.org/NFT/
- Click on “Conncet wallet to buy” and confirm the popup.
- Click “BUY”.
- The transaction MetaMask window opens. Click “Confirm”.
- Wait for the transaction to finish.
- Congratulation! You HODL a HODLbag!
Where can I see the number of bag I bought?
You can add the listing option of HODLbag NFT to MetaMask:
- Open MetaMask and click on “Add Token”
- Copy the dApp address into it, then it fills itself automatically: <to be added when we go live>
- Click “Next” and “Add token”. That is it. Now MetaMask lists see how many bags you have bought.
